Officially the Grumpy Neighbor...

So here it is, 6 in the morning, and I am REALLY awake, when I was hoping to sleep in. Ross left for Death Valley for his 105 mile ride. I was so excited that he still had his rental car from his business trip and I did NOT have to wake up at 5 am to take him to the airport. Not that I wouldn't...but hey, sleep is a beautiful thing. :)

So what do I hear through my window at 5:20, but our neighbor's dog. Okay, I get it, he has to take a leak. No problem. He does this thing where he barks a single bark literally EVERY 30 seconds to a minute. After 25 minutes I had to walk over and ask them to take him inside. I understand that your dog needs to go outside, but early in the morning, is it really that difficult to wait 5 minutes and then go back and let him inside? They ALWAYS leave him outside for lengthy periods. 11:00 pm, when my kids are trying to sleep? Yup, out there barking. 90 degrees and the dog is outside dying of a heat stroke in the middle of the day? Yup. And it barks the entire time. Not a loud, obnoxious, let me inside bark. A slow, annoying, going to drive the people around you insane bark. In the day, I can handle it. 5:30 in the morning? I'm not quite as nice, and I come over and knock on you door. So I guess now I'm the grumpy neighbor. :(

Sorry for your early morning. :( Unfortunately, we normally wake up to the neighbor's dogs, loud kids waiting for the school bus in front of our house, or on Tuesdays, the garbage man before 7am!

I live in a fairly quiet neighborhood. I hear dogs bark all of the time during the summer, and I am okay with it. I guess I just get annoyed that they let him out and then go back to bed. :( If it is a single thing, like the garbage truck, I am good. I wake up to garbage trucks all of the time, unfortunately! LOL I just think they leave the dog outside so they don't have to deal with it. :(

A nagging Mom and a Grumpy Neighbor... You're on a roll this week ;-) J/K

The dog barking would drive me nuts.
My dog goes outside and does just fine until he sees me go into my sewing room and then that's when I get the loud one bark "I see you" message, drives me batty.
5:20am would make me one very unhappy neighbor too.
Hope they'll be more considerate in future.

Yeah, I'm on a roll, aren't I? LOL I felt a bit better when my other neighbor came over and thanked me!! I guess I wasn't the only one it was driving nutso. Ross is very proud of me. It is not something I would normally do. I am a people pleaser, lol, and very non confrontational. Here, I am embarrassed, and he is proud!
