Okay, I know this apron is super cute, but you do NOT want to go to Daisys & dots blog and comment to win it. I mean, I know it's cute...but you want ME to win it, so you wouldn't dare go comment, would you?

My son is so bizarre..
And I am just like him, lol. The other day, I opened up a brand new jar of peanut butter to make him a peanut butter sandwich. He came RUNNING when he saw that I was taking off the lid, and saw the new seal. I couldn't figure it out, and then I realized, he wants to see the knife go into the new, undisturbed peanut butter. It is just cool to watch. Now stop laughing.
Are you one of those people who likes NEW crayons? Me too. When Haley was small, my hubby took a BRAND NEW box of crayons, tore the paper off and broke them into pieces. It seriously, broke my heart. It is supposed to encourage creativity, because you can use the sides of the crayons. It worked...Haley is very creative. ;) But I still want me a new box of crayons, lol.
The funny part is...I am the messiest person I know. I admit it. I am a wreck. If I don't do the dishes for 2 days, it honestly doesn't bother me. So what is UP with this? Am I alone in my craziness? (Besides my slightly odd son? LOL)

Artisan Market in Grand Rapids
So have you ever been to the Fulton Street Artisan Market? I have never seen the variety in artists, like I did there! For the last two weeks I have participated in the little shindig that they hold every week, on Sunday afternoon. Visit the FSAM for details, including pics. :) The first week was a little slow...I only sold 2 key fobs. But I had a blast. Last week was a bit better, and it was a gorgeous day, so who can complain about being outside?
The best part was that I met Jennifer, a local crafter, who also happens to write for the Grand Rapids Press. She writes a craft column, but I don't get The Press, so never get to read it. Little did I know, she has a blog. WOOHOO! She told me about it and gave me her card. I was thrilled, and I am hooked! You should check it out! She wrote a little article on how she met me...so try to scroll down and see it! (Yes, this is a shameless plug!)

And here we have my booth. I never thought I'd fit all of them!

My kids are pretty cute...
For Linn's (my mother in law's) birthday I always take pictures of her three grandkids. I thought they turned out okay. Paige wasn't quite in the mood for pictures. As soon as she got in the car she said "Um, Auntie Karin, I think it's going to rain". Hmmm...somehow I think she's trying to get out of this, lol.
The day before we went to take the pictures, we went to go get Haley's hair cut. I told the lady I wanted it to be stacked in the back, and angled down in the front. Um...she angled it UP. ;) So Haley's hair is quite a bit shorter than originally planned, but I like it. I think it turned out cute. Any opinions?
Haley loves the above shot. She begged me to take it.

She was lonely...
The big tote I made in the last post was lonely. She felt like the one on Sesame Street that wasn't like the others, lol. So I made her two little friends. Take a look...
Have I mentioned I love these fabrics?
Admit it....you want one!

Something a little different...
I recently met Amy from Perennial Piecer and was fascinated by her technique. I decided to try it, and made this bag from all of the wonderful scraps I've accumulated. It took ALOT of time, but I am just thrilled with it. I love fabrics from Michael Miller, Amy Butler, Anna Maria Horner, Alexander Henry and Sandy Henderson. This way, I got to use ALL of them! I haven't decided yet whether it will make it's way into my shop, or it will be my new favorite bag. ;)
And hanging from a chair...
And a view from the other side, since each side is completely different!
So what do you think...keep it or sell it? LOL
